Prior to joining Mill Road Capital, Mr. Sharma was a Partner with Mercury Capital Advisors, a private equity placement firm that spun out of Merrill Lynch & Co. Prior to Mercury, he was a Managing Director in the Private Equity Placement Group at Merrill Lynch. Prior to working in the private equity placement business, Mr. Sharma was a Vice President in the Structured Finance Group at Merrill Lynch & Co. Prior to Merrill Lynch, he was a Senior Consultant with Andersen Consulting.

Mr. Sharma earned a B.A. (with honors) in Economics and Political Science from Rutgers College and an M.B.A. (Beta Gamma Sigma honors) from the Columbia Business School.
